Ozaukee Humane Society Celebrates
Sharing the World with Animals

Grafton, Wis. – To conclude Be Kind to Animals Week 2009, the Ozaukee Humane Society is holding a special recognition ceremony to honor local children, teachers, volunteers and members of the community who have exemplified kindness to animals. Awards will be given to the Humane Educator of the Year, Humane Hero, Animal Hero and winners of the poster, poetry and photography contests. Gregory Jon from radio’s WOKY will be the emcee for the event!

WHAT: Ozaukee Humane Society Be Kind to Animals Ceremony

WHEN: Saturday, May 2, 2009, 11:00 a.m. to Noon

WHERE: North Shore Academy of the Arts, 1111 Broad Street, Grafton, WI 53024

WHY: The Ozaukee Humane Society, along with national humane organizations, recognize the important role that animals play in everyone’s lives. This celebration is an ideal time to educate on the importance of treating animals with respect and kindness.
