Grafton High School Choir to Host Concert for OHS Animals
Grafton, Wis. – The students of Grafton High School’s Choir Department are singing for a good cause. The general public is invited to a special “Animal Rescue Benefit Concert” on Sunday, October 25 at 4:00 p.m. at the GHS Auditorium. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Ozaukee Humane Society.
“We are so grateful to the students and to Anna Hemming, the choir director who is coordinating the concert,” said Beth Maresh, director of program services at OHS. “We are in the midst of a capital campaign to build a new shelter for Ozaukee County animals, so this couldn’t have come at a better time!”
Tickets can be purchased at the door. Admission is $5 for adults & $3 for children grades pre-K to 12. The auditorium is located at 1950 Washington Street in Grafton.
The school will also be collecting the following “wish list” items at the door:
- Dog & Cat Toys
- Peanut Butter
- Bleach & Dish Soap
- Hand Sanitizer
- Garbage Bags
- Paper Towel & Toilet Paper
- Highlighters, Pens, Scissors, Staples
- Post-it Notes & Cardstock Paper
- 8x11 Copy Paper
