Power
Puff Rescue in Grafton
Blossom,
Bubba and Buttercup's Harrowing Abandonment
GRAFTON,
Wis. – Imagine being one of three two-pound
kittens trapped inside the bottom of a large garbage
can. After hours – and possibly days – of constant
crying, they're prayers were finally answered.
Three
real life Power Puff girls came to the kittens'
rescue. Found not too far from the Ozaukee Humane
Society, the three young rescuers immediately alerted
OHS staff, who rushed out to the site and scooped
up the hot, panting felines. The newly named Blossom,
Buttercup and Bubba were rushed to the shelter then
cooled off gradually and then immediately evaluated
by OHS staff.
Thanks
to the brave rescue crew and caring staff at the
Ozaukee Humane Society, Blossom, Buttercup and Bubba
received plenty of attention and tender loving care.
Unfortunately, Buttercup didn't survive.
Although
Blossom and Bubba miss their sibling, their personalities
are that of silly, happy-go-lucky kittens. These
mini-Power Puff siblings are in search of a guardian
who will shower them with love and affection.
For
more information about the kittens, please call
the Ozaukee Humane Society at (262)
377-7580 . Additional information
about the Ozaukee Humane Society can be obtained
by visiting www.ozaukeehumane.org.
