Humane Education Programs and Special Events

Visit local youth organizations and school groups to promote humane education, conduct shelter tours and participate in special events and many other activities. This is a great position for someone who enjoys meeting new people, learning new things, interacting with the public and having fun. Volunteers will need to learn about the programs at the Humane Society in order to effectively answer questions and assist participants. This is a position for individuals 18 years and older and involves a one year as-needed commitment.
