Shelter Crew

They give the shelter its shine! Shelter Crew volunteers will be assisting Animal Care Technicians with various duties, including the following: general maintenance, feeding animals, cleaning, gardening and organizing donations of supplies. Shelter Crew volunteers provide much needed assistance to our Technicians, enabling them to dedicate additional care to other animals in need. The minimum age is 16 years old or 11 years old with a parent. Physical requirements include moderate lifting, bending, reaching and cleaning with various cleaning products. This opportunity is usually a morning position that requires a commitment of two hours per week for at least six months.
